Kent Thompson

Thomas Kent Thompson, age 64, of Randlett, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his home.
Kent was born March 24, 1952 in Ft. Duchesne to Tommy and Lucille McCook Thompson. He married Albertina Poowegup in 1974, they later divorced. He then married Naomi Cuch in 1983.
He worked with the Ute Indian Tribe for over 30 years in various departments. In his spare time he liked to attend and camp at Pow Wows and Sundances. He had a love for hunting and fishing. He was an extraordinary craftsman at making arrows and bows and working with leather. He enjoyed playing the slots in Wendover, spending time with his family, traveling to different places, watching court tv and the news.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Thompson, Randlett; children, Alex Thompson, Roosevelt; Charlotte Shavanaux, Randlett; Margaret Querta Conde, Las Vegas; Faye Querta, Provo; grandchildren, Avory Thompson, Ashton Thompson, Ahlyvia Thompson, David Sireech, Sergio Conde, Aaron Jackson, Thomasina Thompson, siblings, Gloria Thompson, Coonsville; Lance Thompson, Sunshine Acres; many aunts, uncles, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Walter, Willis, Willard, and Fredrick Tim Thompson, Larry McCook, Bernelle Arrive, Judy Thompson, and Susie Washington.
Graveside services held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Randlett Cemetery. A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at their home.
