Keith Haslem

Keith Ray Haslem, age 61, of Bridgeland, UT died in a tragic construction accident on July 2, 2015. He was born on August 13, 1953 in Roosevelt, Utah to Ray and Isola Beth Morrill Haslem. He graduated from Union High School in 1971. He attended Snow College, where he played football, for one year. He then served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Chicago, Illinois.
He married Karen Shisler and together they had four children: Travis Ray, Andrea, Tyler Doyle, & Megan. They later divorced.
Keith pursued many different occupations including cow milker, cabinet maker, mortician, miner, farmer, electrical salesman, heavy equipment operator, and logging - which was his favorite. One of his favorite places to be was Mosby Mountain. His hobbies included hunting, motorcycles, photography, horses, and fishing (especially with the grandkids). But most importantly to him, he loved serving his Father in Heaven in building up the Kingdom of God. He served as Bishop, High Council member, Gospel Doctrine teacher, was a faithful dedicated Home Teacher, and served in other various callings.
He later married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Kathy Clayburn on November 26, 2011. Together they created a happy and fulfilling marriage and brought out the best in each other.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Clayburn Haslem. Children: Travis (Penny) Haslem, Andrea (Brad) Goodrich, Tyler (Ashly) Haslem, Megan (Ryan) Jones, Kori (John) Rosenhan, Clint (Heidi) Petersen, and CJ Petersen. Grandchildren: Mont, Warren, Karl, (& twins on the way) Haslem; Brady & Brex Goodrich; Braxten, Kayden, & Tytan Slaugh; Jace & Luke Jones; Tylr & Cade Rosenhan; Austin & Brighton Petersen; Kaylie Petersen. Parents: Ray & Isola Haslem. Siblings: Beth (Jim) Goodrich, (JoAnn Haslem), Jean (Ron) Ruiz, Julie Haslem, Wade (Chris) Haslem, Clair (Dana) Haslem, Donald (Debbie) Haslem, Doris (Phillip) Bertoch, Arlene (Brian) Southam, and Sharla (David) Wilcox. And many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Doyle M. Haslem, father-in-law Joseph Clayburn, mother-in-law Lillie Mae Clayburn, and brother-in-law Kelly Clayburn.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 at the Bridgeland LDS Chapel. Viewings will be held Monday evening at the church from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Tridell Cemetery.
