Kayla Ray Cox, age 31, of Salisbury, Missouri, and Ft. Duchesne, Utah, passed away November 4, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born September 3, 1987, in Roosevelt, to Charles Juan Cox and Kenna Dee Harris. Her mom gave her the nickname: “Gerbs-a-Lerbs”because she looked just like the Gerber baby when she was young.
Kayla was a very talented sketch artist who enjoyed traveling, listening to music, decorating with arts and crafts, fishing, and hiking. She was a very giving and helpful woman who loved and took care of her children.
She is survived by her children, Camden Brown, Cloey Burmingham, Carlena Knott, Jazlen, Braxley Walker; father, Charles Cox (Heather Primm), Salisbury, Missouri; Kenna (Gracelyn Wyasket) Harris, Ft. Duchesne; brothers and sisters, Joel Cox (Sabrina Peters), Moberly, Missouri; Everett Harris, Roosevelt; Sidney Atwine, Cottonwood Heights; Sophia Cox, Salisbury, Missouri; uncle, Romaine J. Harris, Roosevelt; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. Burial was in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com
