Karen Silva

    Karen Lamar Silva, age 63,  passed away in Ballard, Utah on June 23, 2022. 
    Karen was born on December 27, 1958 in Richmond Virginia to David and Betty Jo Hampton and later moved to Lakewood, WA. She graduated from Clover Park High School in 1977.
    She had two children, Kameron & Matthew. She had 3 grandsons, Blake (14), Brayden (11)  and Jantzen (7). She married Henry Silva in 2009 in Sturgis South Dakota.
She enjoyed riding Harley’s with her husband. She also enjoyed being around friends and family. After moving to Utah she enjoyed the outdoors making trips up to the mountain with her friend JC Hansen as well as dinner dates at Marions and Rockys Place. She enjoyed helping her friend Terry with her seasonal work at her shop in town and always loved her caramel apples. She is truly loved and going to missed dearly by many. 
    She is survived by her daughter Kameron, son Matt, grandsons, Blake, Brayden and Jantzen and her brother, Gary Hampton 
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Silva, her children’s father Kennie Barrett, her son-in-law, Eric Gunderson, and her parents.
    Per her wishes she was cremated.
