Kae Afton Done, age 46, of Myton, passed away April 4, 2025, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
She was born on February 26, 1979, in Roosevelt, to Gerry and Katherine Eide Ivie. After graduating from Union High School, she went on to do a lot of work in customer service fields. She married Kevin Done, and he died February 29, 2016.
Kae graduated from Steven's Henninger College with a bachelor's in Business Association. After graduating, she ran her own jewelry business until settling into working as a substitute teacher at UBATC.
She was a bright person, who always brought a smile to any room she entered. She was a loving mother, and good friend to all who had the privilege and honor of meeting her. She was one of the funniest people one could know, always joking even when times seemed hard. She loved animals so much, bringing home stray pets as often as she could, from youth to adulthood, even strange things she could dig up from the ditch. She was a source of inspiration for her daughter, Gwynneth Ann Miller, who saw her as her superhero and best friend. She was always there for a shoulder to cry on, laughs, and adventures to have. She loved anything fantastical, fantasy, medieval, and out of this world. We wish her the best in her journey over the bridge, may she always find magic, light and endless books to read.
Kae leaves behind her mother Katherine; 6 brothers and sisters, Cindy, Charlie, Susie, Roger, Andrea, and Gerry; her loving daughter, Gwynneth Ann Miller, and many loving friends and family.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held for her on Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Legion Hall in Myton, Utah at 11AM.
