Julie Faye McArthur

    Julie Faye McArthur, age 69, of Roosevelt, died January 23, 2025, at her home after a long illness.
    She was born July 17, 1955, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Beryl and Frankie Burton Gurr.  She married the love of her life, Michael J McArthur, on November 20, 1971.  He died June 5, 2005.
    When we think of our mom the first word to enter our minds is kindness. It is safe to say that all who knew her well would say the same.  We are grateful and blessed to have had her as our mom and friend.  She will continue to inspire us and bring us joy for the remainder of our days.  In the King James version of the bible the word “kindness” appears 48 times, “kind” 45 times and “kindly” 10 times.  That’s what she was through and through.  People were drawn to mom, they knew she had a heart of gold.  We need more people in this world like her.  Can you imagine what a beautiful world it would be?
    She is survived by her children, Marcell McArthur, Roosevelt; Cami (Chris) Billings, Roosevelt; 3 grandchildren, Sadie (Keith) Billings, Bentley (Kayla) Billings, all of  Roosevelt; Pearl McArthur, Washington; brothers- & sisters-in-law, Greg (Mary) Gray, Sherry (Ben) Barto, Don (Lori) McArthur, Kristi (Rick) White, and Lynette Gurr; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Michael; her parents; sister, Louella Etheredge; brother, Cecil Gurr; brother-in-law, James “Jim” Moser; her parents-in-law, Jack & Peggy McArthur; niece, Dana White; and best friend, Cindy Phelps.
    What a reunion they must have had along with her beloved dog, Mr. Bull, by her side.
    Mom I don’t know how this world will be without you in it.  I do know you have shown us the right way to treat people and, at the end of the day, people are all that really matter.
    A Celebration of Life, will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary with a visitation from 11:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park next to her husband and family.
