Joyce LeAnn Colorow

Joyce LeAnn Colorow, age 42, of Whiterocks, passed away June 7, 2019 at her home.
She was born June 19, 1976, in Salt Lake City, to Marcus Colorow, Sr. and Loya Kay Brock.  She has been the companion of Richard Curry, III.
Joyce’s number one priority was her family, especially her kids.  She loved them all and enjoyed being with them in the mountains, camping and fishing.  She had a talent for beadwork, and really liked to attend Sundances.  She loved her aunt “Tish,” and deeply loved her brother, Marcus.
Joyce is survived by her companion, Richard Curry, III; their children, Yasmine Tia Curry, Richard Marcus Curry, IV; Tiaona Stoni Curry, and Catron Curry, all of Whiterocks; mother, Loy Brock, Lapoint; brother, Marcus Colorow, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Letitia Keyaanie; Sally colorow, Luella Brock, Jackie (Marty) Spoonhunter, Rondina Brock, Darwin (Vonda) Brock; Clair Brock; Zelda (Benjamin) Murray; Ephraim Pawwinnee, Roger Kochampanasken; cousins, Gail & Karen Hannah, Benny Colorow, Anthony “Yogi” & Ronald Bow; Martha MountainLion; Cecilia Brock; Sasahlen & Arrianna Kurip; nieces and nephews, Taunisha Neva Colorow; Mercedes Colorow; Marcos Roger, and many other nieces and nephews she dearly loved.   
She was preceded in death by her father, Marcus Colorow, Sr; aunt Lolita Colorow; uncle, Raymond Joe Cornpeach; grandpa, Charlie McKewan; grandma, Gertrude Colorow.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at the Whiterocks Community Building.  There will be a wake at Letitia’s home after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Burial will be in the John Harmes Cemetery in Whiterocks.
