Jord Meacham

Nejourde Thomas “Jord” Meacham, age 22, of Pleasant Valley, passed away August 28, 2023.
    He was born June 16, 2001, in Pleasant Valley, Utah, to Thomas and Kelli Yardley Meacham.  
    Jord worked on the family’s ranch, and enjoyed riding horses, hunting, fishing, and doing anything out doors.  He was a big history buff and was a good cook – soup being his specialty.  Listening to music was a big part of his life and young kids were drawn to him.  He spent the summers working at Leader Creek Fisheries in Naknek, Alaska and cherished the time he spent there and the many friendships that he made.
    Jord is survived by his parents, Tom & Kelli; his siblings, Kristiana, William, Benjhamin, Isabelle, Gabriel, Xander, Emett, Olivia, & Asher, of Pleasant Valley; grandparents, Rita Meacham, Michael & Sherri Yardley; great-grandmother, Maurine Yardley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Stanley; uncle, Alexander; aunt, Rebecca; a cousin, Courtney Jenson; and his beloved dog, “Gelly.”
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Myton Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a visitation on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and on Saturday at the church from 12:00-12:45 p.m.
    Burial will be in the Meacham Family Cemetery in Pleasant Valley.
