Jens Ryan LaRose, age 31, was killed in an automobile accident on August 10, 2021.
Jens was born May 26, 1990 in Roosevelt, Utah to Dustin Wade LaRose and Denise Christensen. He married Amanda Lefler, they later divorced. He married Rachel Williams on July 2, 2019 in Provo Canyon.
Jens enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, roping, working with horses, moving cows on the mountain with his family, horn hunting and 4-wheeling. He graduated from Duchesne High and was very active member of the wrestling team. He loved his children and worked hard at being a good dad.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel LaRose, children, KezLynn Charelle LaRose, Jesse LaRose, Dustin Tate LaRose, Koa Ryan LaRose, his parents, Denise (Travis) Grant, Dustin (Paula) LaRose, siblings, Kenneth Colt (Brooke) LaRose, Merrisa Ann Grant, James Dawson Grant, Kyli (Garrett) Moon, grandparents, JoAnn Grant, Dennis & DeAnn Christensen, and Loreen & Dennis Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James “Jim” Grant, K.C. LaRose, step-mom, Charity LaRose, and uncle, Loren LaRose.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duchesne 1st and 3rd Ward Chapel. Viewings will be held on Monday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Burial in the Duchesne City Cemetery.
