Jennifer Capwell Myore

April 17, 1974 — November 4, 2024

Roosevelt, Utah

Jennifer Ruth Capwell Myore, age 50, of Roosevelt, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2024, at her home.

She was born April 17, 1974, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Merrill “Chico” and Peggy Ann Bird Capwell. She married Dovon Poowegup and they later dirvorced. She married the love of her life, Kevin Myore, in 2002, in Vernal. She had such an enduring love for Kevin and he would be at her side in a moment’s notice, helping her with anything.

Jennifer started at the Frontier Grill working for Gordie Harmston. Once Chris Anderton purchased the Frontier she stayed working for him and became the manager. She worked there for many years and when you would walk into the Frontier Grill, you know you would be greeted by Jennifer. She took great pride in her job there, and she had such loyalty and friendship with owner and friend, Chris – they would often fight like siblings and then make up the next day. She fiercely loved her family and put all of their needs and wants above her own. She did that with everyone: giving more than she got and always giving more than she had. From the outside what she gave may have seemed little, but it was usually all that she had.

Jennifer was so proud of her children, talking about them to anyone who would listen. She loved her grandbabies – they called her “Mama Jenn” – and she made sure they were well taken care of. Her favorite place to be was at her mom & dad’s house. She chose to go there every chance she got. Her mother, Peggy, was so important to her and she missed her dad dearly, every single day.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and was a dead eye with any firearm. She was the secretary in the local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, a wildlife conservation group. She helped many charities and foundations with their fund-raisers, often going door to door.

Jennifer was extremely loyal and once you were her friend, you had a friend for life!

Jennifer is survived by Kevin; her children Brooke (Kyle) Adams, South Jordan; Juneau Myore, Ft. Duchesne; Kara Myore (Michael Cuch), Vernal; Marlayna Myore (Maurice Serawop), Roosevelt; Lewis Myore, Ft. Duchesne; 18 grandchildren; mother, Peggy Capwell (Ivan German), Roosevelt; siblings, Michael Woodward, Arizona; Kimberly Capwell, Roosevelt; Jason Capwell (Tony Miranda), Roosevelt; Kenneth (Ashlea) Capwell, Montana; Cody Capwell, Roosevelt; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chico; son, Justin Myore; her grandparents, and her uncle, Kenny Capwell.

There will be a viewing at the Roosevelt Christian Assembly (870 E 200 N) beginning at 4:00 p.m. and going until 7:00 p.m. at which time there will be a short farewell program with a speaker and a prayer.
