Jeffery Alton Wilde

    Jeffery Alton Wilde, age 57, of Myton, passed away January 1, 2019, at his daughter’s home in Santaquin, surrounded by his loved ones.
    He was born August 27, 1961, in Salt Lake City, to Alton Wilde and Carolyn Rae Ivie.
    Jeff was a woodsman, and a farmer. His favorite times were being with his animals
on the farm and chopping wood in the mountains. He went everywhere with a saw in his hand! He really liked to B.S. and visit with people, whether it was at someone’s house, at the gas station, or out to lunch. He was loved by everyone he came in contact with. It did not matter how he knew you or if he just met you he always loved to crack a joke and make you smile.  He could always find the positive in every situation. He loved his kids and grandkids – they were the light in his life.
    He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
    Jeffery is survived by his children, Jeremy (Maria) Wilde, Myton; Joshua Wilde, Vernal; Erica (Warren) Purcell, Vernal; Hope-Anne (Royal) Murdock, Santaquin; Candie (Tony) Parra, West Jordan; Raechel (Alan) Evertsen, Orem; 21 grandchildren; father, Alton Wilde, Heber City; grandmother, Dorothy Ivie, Duchesne; brothers and sister, Troy (Gretchen) Wilde, Heber City; Heidi (Rick) Miller, Heber City; Eric (Kristy) Wilde, Duchesne; and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn; and a brother, Kevin.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Myton Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where a viewing will be held on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Bridgeland Cemetery.
