James Main, Sr

James Hudson Main, Sr., age 56, of Duchesne, passed away at his home during the evening of October 28, 2016.
He was born June 11, 1960, in Gault, California, to Julian K. and Helen James Main.
James was what he considered a mountain man living off the land. He was a gifted fisherman who never missed an opportunity to take his grandchildren and help them pull in a "keeper". He was a sweet soul who loved his children and spoiled his grandchildren every chance he got. He was also a very good mechanic, who loved to rebuild engines. We will never forget his smiles and screams while watching scary movies, monster movies made him jump the highest. He had a Facebook group called "Help Jesus, Help Kids," that raised awareness against child abuse and domestic violence. He was very proud of this endeavor. He worked as an oilfield worker for 30 years. He then switched over to truck driving until three years ago when his health no longer allowed. He then turned to cutting wood because how much he enjoyed being in nature. He was a very intelligent, independent, person who delighted in traveling to different countries. He is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
James is survived by his four children, James Main, Jr., Monica (Skylar) Vreeken, Stacey Main, Angel Main, grandchildren, Elise, Gauge, & Madison Main, Keira & Kylie Vreeken, his siblings, Norman Main, Californai; George Main, Julia Gordon, both of Louisiana; Patricia Franco, Linda Bramlett, both of Arizona; Carolyn Kiesler, Margaret Burns, Arizona; Jessie Bodine, Oregon, and numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother Helen, and the mother of his children Sandra Main.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary where a viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Following the services, he will be cremated.
