Irene Chamberlain Lamb, age 80, of Altonah, died on October 25, 2016 in Meridian, Idaho, surrounded by her family.
Irene was born December 10, 1935 in Orderville, Utah. She married Glendon LaNar Lamb January 25, 1952. Later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple. He died May 25, 2010.
Irene was a special daughter of God that knew how to make everyone feel so loved and special. If you asked all of her 25 grandchildren who her favorite grandchild was, they would each say they were. She knew each of them and loved them all in a way that they needed. She was so caring and endearing that even those that married into the family felt her love unconditionally. She never stopped serving the Lord and was strong in her faith until the end.
We know it was a happy, joyful reunion with her husband LaNar, oldest daughter Marilyn, parents La Mar and Margaret Chamberlain and sister VerDawn who preceded her in death.
Survived by her children (Scott Drews), Gary, Janet (Kent Rust), Glenn (Brenda Lamb) LeeAnn (Bruce Thacker), Greg (Wendy Lamb), brother Lee Chamberlain (AnnaLee Chamberlain), 25 grandchildren, and 41 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her family, friends, and cherished community.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Lake Fork LDS Chapel. Viewings will be held on Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. AT THE LAKE FORK CHAPEL, and also on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.
