Iova Moore

Iova Jorgensen Moore, age 90, of Leota, passed away February 12, 2016, at the home of her brother, Don Jorgensen.
She was born January 1, 1926, in Leota, Utah, to Oliver Wendell and Ina Ellsworth Jorgensen. She married Bernard D. Moore on April 8, 1946, and their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 10, 1954. He died April 12, 2014.
Iova was a very caring person. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, decorating cakes, and crocheting, especially making dolls for her grandkids. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and often used her piano skills to play for the many organizations. She loved serving in the Vernal Temple.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Sharon) Moore, Layton; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, and a brother, Don (Jane) Jorgensen, Randlett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; a daughter, Gail Erickson; a son, Kurt Moore; brothers, Irvin, Vern, Bert; a sister, Melva Neumeyer; and a grandson, Steven Moore.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Randlett LDS Chapel with a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in the Leota Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
