Ina Louise Santio

Ina Louise Santio, age 72, of Gusher, passed away October 29, 2022, at the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
    She was born July 31, 1950, in Roosevelt, to Daniel Tahreep and Hannah Serawop Santio.  
    Ina worked for many years at BIA.  She enjoyed traveling to Wendover, doing crafts, plastic canvas, selling Avon, shopping, getting her nails and hair done, eating at the Frontier Grill, making the best potato salad, and playing bingo in Grand Junction and many other places.  She was an avid fan of Elvis – attending eight of his concerts,  George Strait – attending seven of his concerts, and the “old” Lakers Team with Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  
    Ina is survived by a nephew she raised like a son, Davy Blackhorse; siblings, Veronica Santio, Susan Santio, Darryl (Christine) Santio, all of Ft. Duchesne; April Santio, Lapoint, UT; aunt, Gladys, Hilltop, UT; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and all Serawop cousins.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Danny, Zorro, Jay Dee, Davey, Casey, and Ann Santio; uncles, Lander, Kenneth, Alan, Fred; aunts, Clara, Ida, Alice and many other relatives.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building.  She will be taken to the community building on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
    Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
