Glenn LaMar Lamb

Glenn LaMar Lamb, age 57, of Altonah, passed away October 24, 2017, at his home of a heart attack.
Glenn was born in Panguitch, Utah, May 4, 1960, to Glendon  LaNar Lamb and Irene Chamberlain. Married Leslie Cook, later divorced. Married Brenda Frandsen, June 4, 1988, in Boneta, Utah, and they were blessed with two children, Garret and Ashley, of whom he was so proud.
Glenn’s early years were in Orderville, and he often shared adventure stories and fond memories of his childhood and wished every kid could have a wonderful childhood like he had. Glenn moved with his family to Altonah where he enjoyed helping his dad on the farm. He loved his high school days and will long be remembered for his athletic abilities and achievements, earning scholarships in football and track. He worked many years in the oil and gas industry working in gas plants and gas compressor field stations.
Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and had a special love for his five grandchildren.  He held close to his heart the fond memories of the times he helped coach teams that Garret and Ashley were a part of growing up. He and his brother, Gary, enjoyed many years of horse racing where he made many long-lasting friendships.
Glenn’s personality was fun and outgoing. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and made friends wherever he went. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Brenda, Altonah; children, Garret (Emilee) Lamb, Hanna; Ashley (Coy) Hogan, Bluebell; five grandchildren, Breckyn, Ella, Aubree, Easton, and Max; brothers and sisters, Gary Lamb, Houston, TX; Janet (Kent) Rust, Cedar Hills; LeeAnn (Bruce) Thacker, Meridian, ID; Greg (Wendy) Lamb, Vernal;  brother-in-law, Scott Drews, Salt Lake; brother-in-law, Mike (Gaylinn) Frandsen, Boneta; sister-in-law, Carrie Lynn (Shane) Shiner, Upalco; mother-in-law, Judy Frandsen, Talmage; and many nieces and nephews.
