Geoffery Riley Cesspooch

    Geoffery Riley Cesspooch, age 31, of Ignacio, Colorado, formerly of Ft. Duchesne, passed away on July 10, 2019 with his family by his side in Durango, CO.
    Geoffery was born October 28, 1987 in Roosevelt, to Scott Cesspooch, Sr., and Pamela McCook.
    He enjoyed being around his kids who were his pride and joy, and spending time with all of his family.  He liked to play basketball and thought he was a pro at volleyball.  While living in Ignacio he made several new friends who were always glad to visit with him.
     He spent time listening to music, free styling, gambling, playing fives and dancing.  His favorite dance was flossing with his daughters, Moni and Riley.  At one point in his life he tried to learn to speak Spanish, and he liked to buy the latest electronics.  
    Geoff was an outgoing person, always kind, helpful, giving and generous even to those he didn’t know.  He had a special gift of brightening others day.  We will cherish the short time we had with him and all the nicknames he gave everyone.
    He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.  Before he left, he accepted Jesus into his life and at the time of his passing the room filled with peace and his family knew he had made Heaven his home.      
    He is survived by his children, Moni, Riley and Amire Cesspooch, Roosevelt; mother, Pamela (Tony) Greaves, Ignacio; siblings, Scott (Echo) Cesspooch, Ft. Duchesne; Michael Cesspooch, Sadael (Kelsey) Tauaalo, all of Ignacio; Mariah Angel, Ft. Duchesne; Teaunna Cesspooch, Ignacio; Macias (Saranden) Tauaalo, grandmother, Ella McCook, aunts and uncles, Tony McCook, all of Ignacio; Shane McCook, Amanda (Burt) Mahkewa, Ft. Duchesne; Linda & Tina Moya, Vernal; and other numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Cesspooch, Sr., grandpa, Randolph McCook, Sr., Reuben Cesspooch, Sr., grandma, Nancy Moya, great grandma, Bonnie McKinley, aunts and uncles, Randolph “Bookman” McCook, Jr., Bonita Cesspooch, and Tsinina Isabella Moya.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 10:00 a. m. at the Pentecostal Church.  A wake will be held after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Angelo Checora’s home.
    Burial in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
