Gaylen L Robison

Gaylen Lyman Robison, age 77, of Myton, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Born July 6, 1939 in Salt Lake City to Willis Alma Robison and Elva Ehlers, he married Idonna Kay Martin March 28, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Growing up on a farm in Midvale, Gaylen gained an appreciation for hard work. He was a patriot and served honorably in the Navy during the Korean war. He worked hard as an auto body man, and painted cars for over 50 years, taking great pride in his work, making sure everything was done to perfection. He was skilled in art, jewelry-making, carpentry, welding, and metal-working. Gaylen was ambitious, with many interests and dreams. He loved serving in the church and serving his fellow man. He had a strong testimony of the gospel. Gaylen was a good and decent man who would give all he had and then some to help others. Just and honest, principled and dutiful, he always demanded fairness for everyone, never wanting to manipulate or cheat others. “Always do your duty” was his motto and counsel to his children.
Gaylen is survived by his children, Robbie Vincent (Vicki) Robison, Lucretia Robison, Elizabeth Viola (Adrian) Jones, Stacie Marie (Joey) Bokros, Rebecca Diane Robison, Rowana Charity Ray, Alma Pratt Robison, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Idonna.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Myton LDS Chapel with a viewing from 1-1:45 p.m.
