Gary Thomas Krueckeberg


    Gary Thomas Krueckeberg, age 71, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away December 6, 2017, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
    He was born April 25, 1946, in Decatur, Indiana, to Edgar W. and Leanora S. Bruck Krueckeberg.
    Gary served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
    Gary worked for many years as a pumper in the oilfield and was a hard worker trying to provide for his family.  He was a life long fan of the Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Browns.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, eating at Rocky’s, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.  
    Gary is survived by his children, Todd & Dave Krueckeberg, of Indiana; Kristella Pike, Sunshine (Terry) Conetah; grandchildren, James Thomas Azbill, Miya Cerno; Jordan, Deondre, & Alfred Checora IV; Breena, Lathon, & Lora Lynn Conetah; two great-grandchildren, and friend, Zuella “Babes” Murray, all of Ft. Duchesne.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Timothy Roger Krueckeberg.  
    Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park.  Military honors will be presented the by Roosevelt American Legion and the Utah National Guard.  Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com
