Gale Paul Smith

    Gale Paul Smith, age 73, of Neola, died September 17, 2019, at his home in Neola.
    Gale was born on July 23, 1946 in Pomona, California to Paul Linwood and Ann Monsello Smith.  He married Paula Ann Payne on October 25, 1968 in Las Vegas.  She died November 3, 2010.
    Gale loved to fly fish, especially on the Whiterocks and Uintah Rivers.  He enjoyed working with his hands, making knives and maintaining the garden he always had.  His absolute favorite hobby was his grandchildren.
    Gale is survived by his children, Matthew Wade (Angela) Smith, and Stacey (Ryan) Chapman; grandchildren, Brenden and Brooke Holgate and Averie Gilbert.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a son, Bryan Paul Smith.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.
    A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
    Following the services he will be cremated.  Military honors will be presented by the Roosevelt American Legion Post #64, the Utah Army National Guard, and the Patriot Guard Riders.
