Fred Andrew Honwynewa

    Fred Andrew Honwynewa, age 43, of Winslow, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2016.
    He was born October 27, 1973, in Roosevelt, to Ray J. and Marianne Conetah Honwynewa.  
    Fred was a humorous man who enjoyed hunting, camping, and being around his family.  He was a very outgoing person who was optimistic and caring.  He liked to joke around and his favorite saying was, “The women only want me for my body.”
    Fred is survived by his two children, Dapree, of Whiterocks, and Athena, of Arizona; mother, Marianne (Gilbert) Gardner, Indian Bench; brothers and sisters, Ray Honwynewa, Jr. (Louellen Nutumya), Rozella Honwynewa,  Raelene Honwynewa, Raejeanne Honwynewa, all of Winslow, AZ;and Delford (Marie) Cesspooch, Ft. Duchesne, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Ray; sister, Anita Honwynewa; grandparents, Reva & Raymond Poseyesva; and  Fred & Rosella Conetah.  
    Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the Myton Cemetery.
    There will be a wake on Wednesday, after 5:00 p.m., at the late Rosella Conetah’s home.
