Franklin Taveapont, Sr.

    Franklin James Vigil “Beanie” Taveapont, Sr.age 61, of Whiterocks, passed away at his home on September 19, 2024.
    Frank was born October 24, 1962 in Roosevelt, to Reid Smoot and Marie Caroline Cuch Taveapont.
    Frank loved working with his hands and did a lot of reconstruction in homes through the years.  In his earlier years he fought wild fires for 10 years.  He loved his Harleys and enjoyed riding around seeing friends and the beautiful country.  He enjoyed classic rock, telling stories and spoiling his grandchildren.  He cherished his family and loved spending time with each of them.
    He is survived by his children, Frank (Melissa) Taveapont, Jr., Tera Black, Jeremiah Taveapont, Tiffanie Taveapont, Terrence (Jerilyn) Taveapont, Xavier Taveapont, Christopher Taveapont, 18 grandchildren, and his sister Berdeena Taveapont.
    He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Pansy Nephi, Eldora Bush, Lynette Grant, Floradeena Taveapont, Lalisa Taveapont.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
