Frank Joseph Annerl

   Frank Joseph Annerl, age 96, of Vernal, passed away April 18, 2022 at his home.      Frank was born August 20, 1925 in South St. Paul, Minnesota to Frank and Catherine Hirt Annerl.  He served in the Navy on a Navel Destroyer for 3 years during WWII.  He married Doris Jean Olsen on December 6, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  
    Frank was a world horse shoe champion and also played baseball in the semi-pro division.  He enjoyed traveling, gambling in Wendover, fishing, watching and participating in sports, and being in the outdoors.  
    He is survived by his children, Steven Craig Annerl, Mark Scott Annerl, Aprilyn  Kay Annerl, foster daughter, Wynette Bishop and his grandchildren, Heather Christopher, Catherine, Sarah, Emily, Patty, Joseph, Clarienda, Sarah, Emily, and Thomas,  and a sister, Joy Avalon Jacobs.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.
    Per his wishes he will be cremated

 Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Remember the Maine Park in Dry Fork Canyon (4250 North 3500 West). Military Honors will be presented at 11:00 a.m.
