Frances Ella Reynolds

      Frances Ella Funk Reynolds, age 84, of Roosevelt, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Uintah Basin Medical Center, surrounded by her family.
    She was born December 28, 1932 in Myton to George Frances and Lydia Jenkins Funk.  She grew up in Myton with a love of horses, and attended Wasatch Academy, graduating in 1950.  She married Merlyn Reynolds on June 28, 1951 in Elko, NV, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 23, 1976.  He died December 20, 2007.
    She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving 12 years in Primary and 5 years in the Relief Society Presidency.  She was a special education teacher in the 80's at Lapoint Elementary.  She enjoyed camping and loved spending time with her family.
    Frances is survived by her children, Melodie Reynolds, Roosevelt; Jeffrey (Susan) Reynolds, Tucson, AZ; Kandace (Pete) Morris, Vernal; Tony (Diana) Reynolds, Honie (Sonnie) Bird, all of Roosevelt, 26 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Merlyn, sister, Joni Larsen, brother Howard Funk and granddaughter, Pepper Daniels.
    Funeral services held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 4th Ward LDS Chapel.  Viewings will be held on Wednesday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6 - 8 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
    Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
