Florence Lisonbee Williams, age 95, of Bluebell, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Sr. Villa.
She was born on August 19, 1920, in Lake Fork (Upalco), to Alva Leonadus and Mary Remington Merrell Lisonbee. She was the youngest of 12 children. She graduated from Altamont High School in 1938. She married Thomas Lamont "Mont" Williams on March 23, 1945 in Preston, ID. Their marriage was solemnized in the Provo temple on March 24, 1985. He died January 25, 2011.
Mont and Florence lived in many towns in Northern Utah before settling in the Lisonbee family home in Bluebell. Florence and Mont had two boys; Kent and Randy.
Florence worked many jobs including; farm labor, hotel laundry, store clerk and telephone operator. She loved to quilt and crochet. She made quilts, ponchos, hats, Christmas ornaments, butterflies and afghans, to name a few. She served in many callings for the LDS church including Relief Society Secretary, Quality Specialist and Visiting Teacher.
She is survived by her children Kent (Janet) Williams, Vernal; Randy (Judy) Williams, Bluebell; Diane (Warren) Jones, Clearfield; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings and her husband Mont
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altamont LDS Stake Center. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6 - 8 p.m. and Friday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial in the Bluebell Cemetery.
