Florence Kofford

    Our sweet Mother, Florence Theresa Kofford’s, journey here ended on November 3, 2017. The love of her life, her companion, best friend and husband of 67 years, Dan, has taken her hand and brought her home.  She was 86 years old and was from Talmage.
    She started her life in Boston on August 5, 1931, born to Archibald and Lillian McIsaac McCormack, and then lived the last 40 years or so in Talmage.
    From big city to small town, Florence was happy as long as she was with her family. She loved to bake and offered food and a cup of coffee to all who came to visit. Instant hunger attacked all grandkids upon entering her kitchen. There are many fond memories of hot chocolate and snow sledding, hot homemade bread and homemade jam. There were always cookies or cake or her favorite, doughnuts.  Her appearance was always important to her and she looked like a million bucks when she dressed up to go somewhere with Dan. We were all so blessed to have her in our lives. She will be greatly missed .
    Florence is survived by her children, Pat (Chipper) Fenn, Danny (Colleen) Kofford, Mike (Kriss) Kofford, Richard (Christa) Kofford; twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy McCormack, and Linda McConvey.
    She was preceded in death by husband Dan Andrew Kofford; daughter, Teri Goodrich; son, Andrew Kofford; brother, William McCormack; sisters, Lillian Yanowski and Loretta Damon.
    Graveside services held Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Talmage Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the Moon Lake LDS Church from 11:00 a.m.-12:40 p.m.
