Floradeena "Gidget" Taveapont

    Floradeena “Gidget” Taveapont, age 57, of Whiterocks, passed away March 31, 2022 at her home.
    Gidget a was born March 28, 1965 in Roosevelt, Utah to Reid Smoot and Marie Cuch Taveapont.
    Gidget enjoyed being in the outdoors, spending time in the mountains and traveling to many places.  She had a wonderful talent, making jewelry and selling and sharing it with others.  Her family was most important to her and she delighted in her grandchildren.      
    She is survived by her son, Brandon (Clarinda) Duane-Cuch, her siblings, Franklin Taveapont, Berdeena Taveapont, Lalisa Taveapont, niece, Samantha Bush, (Lyle Saltwater), other closer relatives, Ina Jane Nephi, and Don Taveapont, Tiffanie (Lon) Hackford, Terrence (Jerilyn) Taveapont, Franklin (Melissa) Taveapont, Jr., Kevin Reed,  and numerous grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Eldora Bush, Sandra Taveapont, Pansy Nephi, Clifford Cornpeach, Venita Taveapont, Neiko Nephi, Lanette Cuch Grant, niece, Anna Marie Bush, grandson, Tresson J. Nez..
    Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.  A wake will be held at her home on Monday after 4:00 p.m.
