Evette Kay Atwine, age 41, of Ogden, passed away November 25, 2022, at the Ogden Regional Medical Center.
She was born December 30, 1980, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Hubert “Oday” Lane Atwine and Clarissa Mae Tom.
Evette had a good sense of humor, was energetic, generous, and caring, and had a good personality. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, singing, being with family and friends, and cooking – but she hated laundry! She liked to travel to Oregon, have barbecues, and watch scary movies. She was a big fan of Bob Marley, Alan Jackson, and Al Green.
Evette is survived by her children, Jayseous, Boysun, Archilles, Kayslee Atwine; her siblings, Tonya (BJ) Steele; Leomey “Nora” Atwine; Lanette Atwine; Cody Tom; Lonita Bushhead; Vincent Bushhead; Natasha Atwine; Marcia Bushhead; Maria Robinett; Brandon Lee; Rosa Martinez; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert & Clarissa; aunt, Flora Mountainlion; niece, Starlene Taveapont; brother, Rueben Cuch Jr.; sister, Wendy Cuch; uncle, Whitney Grant; and her companion, Max Toledo.
Funeral services will be held on November 30, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Whiterocks Community Building. There will be a wake after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the community building.
Following the services, she will be cremated.
