Emma Louise Bowden Wilson, 86, of Tridell, Utah, left her earthly home on May 19, 2016, surrounded by her family. She was born February 28, 1930, in Maeser, Utah, to Walter Warren Bowden and Mary Agnes Schanno Bowden. She married Ben Morrill Wilson October 11, 1947, in Maeser, Utah.
First and foremost she loved her family. She loved family reunions, enjoyed camping on Mosby Mountain and gardening. She was an excellent cook, wonderful homemaker and mother. She was a faithful helpmate and compassionate companion. Emma served faithfully in many church callings and she especially loved serving in the temple.
She is survived by her children: Louise (Tom) Fausett of Roosevelt, Utah; Tom (Linda) Wilson of Tridell, Utah; Bonnie (Bruce) Bagley of Clarkston, Utah; Paul (Debbie) Wilson of Ninilchik, Alaska; JaCina (Tim) Barrett of Roosevelt, and Warren (Nan) Wilson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 36 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters Clara (Bill) Arnold and June (Jim) Fisher, both of Vernal, Utah; and a brother, Francis (Betty) Bowden of Vinton, Texas.
She is preceded in death by Ben, her sweetheart of 48 years, their son Michael Wilson, parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at the LaPoint, Utah Ward Chapel, 6877 North 10600 East, LaPoint, Utah at 12:00 pm. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:45 am at the chapel, prior to the services.
