Edna Wills

    Edna Amy Neilson Wills, age 79, of Roosevelt, passed away May 28, 2018 at the Utah Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family.
    Edna was born September 4, 1938 in Roosevelt to Vere Henry and Libbie Helen Clayburn Neilson.  She married John Alma Wills, April 7, 1956 in Roosevelt, Utah.  They were sealed February 15, 1979 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
    Edna was very giving and known for her kind heart.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving in the  Stake Relief Society Presidency, serving in Young Women’s and Relief Society in many capacities.  
    She enjoyed going to yard sales, camping, quilting, and was the world’s best cook.  When she hosted dinner, she could count on all 98 of her immediate family to attend.  Her home was always open, she was a good listener and was always willing to help others. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she never forgot a birthday.  
    Her greatest joy was her family, and she delighted in her grandchildren, and kept a special candy drawer just for them.
    She is survived by her husband, John Alma Wills, children, Kitty (Larry) Rasmussen, of Roosevelt; Sherry (Lewis) Horrocks, Lapoint; Julie (LaMar) Eldredge, Connie (Chris) Heaton, Rocky (Angie) Wills, all of Roosevelt, 19 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dale Neilson, Joseph Neilson, and Darwin Neilson.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 2nd Ward Chapel, 250 West 200 North.  Viewings will be held on Friday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6 - 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 10:00 - 10:45.
    Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
