Duane Vere Neilson

   Duane Vere Neilson, age 64, of Bridgeland, left this world July 30, 2022, to find new places to prospect for gold..  He was surrounded by his family.
    He was born May 11, 1958, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Marilyn and Sharon Joseph Neilson.  He married Karen Labrum, and the were later divorced.
    Duane was a simple, kind-hearted man.  He loved everything outdoors to include fishing, boating, hunting, camping, and family BBQs.  He enjoyed being around his family and friends while laughing and teasing the grandkids.  He lived each day in the moment enjoying the simple things in life.  He had an enormous heart and was always there to help.  
    Duane is survived by his mother, Marilyn Foy; siblings, Colleen (Mike) Wood and Stuart (Gina) Neilson; daughters, Kassandra (Cody) Johnston; Cherei (Corie) Miller; and Autumn (Cody) Sanchez; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gadge, Jaygen, Kylie, Presley, Madison, Triston, Haizlee, Adeline and Navi.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Sharon, and his grandparents.  
    Funeral services will be held on August 4, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.  There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. Thursday morning.  
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
