Doyle Leroy “Moose” Winn, age 64, of Cedarview, passed away on January 23, 2018 at the University of Utah Hospital from complications of a stroke.
Doyle was born June 5, 1953 in Roosevelt to Albert Leroy and Elma Bell Curtis Winn. He grew up in Myton, went to school for as long as he could stand it, then went to work on the rigs when he was 16. He married Jean Harney on January 7, 1978.
Doyle worked on the oil rigs for about 18 years and then started driving semi trucks until he retired. He loved to hunt, ride horses, shoot, fix up old cars and travel. His family was most important to him and he cherished the time he spent with them. His favorite hobby was guns, he reloaded his own ammo and they were always clean.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Jean Winn, daughter, Tara J (Omar) Saavedra, granddaughters, Katerra & Mya, siblings, Glenna (Kent) Wilson, Donna (Karl) Lamb, and sister-in-law, Darlene Winn.
