Douglas Isaac Wamsley, age 61, of Mountain Home, passed away September 7, 2022, from complications of cancer.
He was born April 20, 1961, in Salt Lake City, to Richard Bryson Wamsley and Thelma Ann Loertscher Wamsley.
Douglas was a tow truck driver for many years. He was a bit of a renegade and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
He is survived by his sons, Doug (Tara) Wamsley, Manuta, Utah; Dillon Wamsley, Wellington; Corstiaan Wamsley, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; his mother, Thelma Pawlas, Mountain Home; siblings, Richard (Kathy) Wamsley, Herriman; Kris (Reed) VanWagoner, Mountain Home; Teresa Murphy, South Jordan; Terry Andersen, Tooele; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard; his step-fathers, Terry “Butch” Andersen, and Richard Pawlas.
Per his wishes, he was cremated.
