Watch Live Stream HERE Daniel Dirk Oman, age 66, of Boneta, Utah, passed away May 10, 2024.
He was born August 2, 1957, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Clarence and Hannah Swasey Oman.
He was raised in Boneta on his family’s ranch that he later purchased from his mother. He primarily raised Angus cattle, but over the years also had some horses, Jacob sheep, and even raised some buffalo. In addition to ranching, Dirk worked for Koch Hydrocarbon, Burdick Paving, and Questar Gas, where he made lifelong friendships. He loved his family, his home, and had a gift of making people laugh and feel understood.
Dirk is survived by his children, DeAnna (Jesse) Jafolla, Rachele (Casey) Watkins, Holten (Dakota) Oman, and Zachery Oman; grandchildren, Anthony Jafolla, Audrey Jafolla, Paul Oman, Tesla Oman, Clarence Watkins, and Theodore Watkins; siblings, Joyce (Willard) Burton, Bonnie (Thomas) Peterson, Barbara Oman, Phil (Sandra) Oman, and Ralph (Julie) Oman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Hannah Oman, and brother, Clair Oman.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Moon Lake Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing on Thursday evening at the church from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 - 10:45 AM.
