Dennis Wilson Warr, age 80, of Bluebell, passed away October 6, 2021 at the University of Utah from complications of Covid-19.
Dennis was born November 26, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leland Franklin, Sr. and Delsa Mary Wilson Warr. He married J. Elaine Maloney on November 30, 1959 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on August 15, 1963.
He resided primarily in the Salt Lake area until 1970, then his family moved to the Duchesne County area where he began his own welding business. He became a master welder and traveled to many states and even the Virgin Islands for his work. He was a man of many talents, working with jewelry, wood and could weld anything.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many positions through the years, he and his wife served 3 mission and also served as ordinance workers in the Vernal Temple.
His family was his life, he cherished everyone of them and delighted in his grandchildren that were often with him.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Warr, children, Denise (Rick) Hofmann, Debra (Allen) Lindsay, Douglas (Mindy) Warr, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Leland F Warr, Jr., and Loma W Morris, and grandson, Joshua Warr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Altamont Stake Center.
Burial will be in the Bluebell Cemetery.
