Dennis Scholes

    Dennis K Scholes, Age 33 of Independence, passed away February 24, 2018 in his home from complications of a long illness.
    He was born August 30, 1984 in Roosevelt, Utah to Sidney and Carol Scholes. He graduated from Union High School in 2006.
    Dennis lived a valiant life. He was a bit mischievous with a great sense of humor. He was a true car enthusiast and loved going on long rides.
    Dennis enjoyed a happy life due to the  care of diligent caregivers and teachers. He was loved by many and will be missed.     
    Dennis is survived by his parents of Independence, brothers and sisters: Esther (Clinton) Despain, Fielding, UT, Craig (Alissa) Scholes, Bend, OR; Crystal (Daniel) Reynolds, Vernal; Valerie Scholes, Independence; and 12 nephews.
    Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Marc Scholes, nephew Ryan Trosky and grandparents Walter and Marjorie Scholes and Glen and Lurrine Sorenson.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ballard LDS Chapel.   Viewings will be held on Sunday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 5-7 p.m. and Monday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.    
    Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
