Dee Brough

Dee W Brough, age 90, of Randlett, returned home to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the Ashley Valley Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
Dee was born February 4, 1925 in Leota, Utah to Jesse Samuel and Luella Nebeker Brough.
He served in the army during WWII, receiving a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He married Cloe L Durfey on February 1, 1951 in Roosevelt, they were later sealed in the Vernal LDS Temple on July 8, 2003. After 64 years of marriage she passed away just a month and two days earlier than he on June 26, 2015.
Dee was a heavy equipment operator for the National Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management, which he retired from. He and Cloe also owned and operated the Brough CafAC. where he was famous for his "Dee Burgers". He really enjoyed fishing and taught all of his grandkids how to fish. He also liked to hunt, and garden, giving away most of what he grew. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very special to him and he had a nickname for each - even up to the last who was only two months old. His easy going and extremely patient nature will be greatly missed. He never complained and never said a bad word about anyone. He was a loving husband and father and was always there for his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandie (Bruce) Jarman, Cindy (Mitch) Phillips, grandchildren, April, Brandon, Krista, Stephanie, Amanda, Jesse, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister, Eugena Pickup.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Cloe Brough, siblings, Myron, Donald, Grant, Robert "Bob", George, John, Gilbert Brough; Donna Pickup, Nellie Harris, and Bonnie Lou Brough.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Randlett LDS Chapel. Viewings will be held on Sunday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and Monday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in the Avalon Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion and Utah National Guard.
