David Leo Harper, age 51, of Roosevelt, passed away August 20, 2017, at his home of natural causes.
He was born December 2, 1965, in Idaho Falls, to Ronald Leo Harper and Diane Winterton.
Dave loved his family, especially his daughter Shallise. His passion in life was the Utah Jazz, and he loved to go to their games. He also enjoyed watching all sports on the television and was an Indianapolis Colts fan.
Dave was a gifted and talented artist and painter which began at a young age and continued throughout his life. He had a love for classic cars, owning several of his own. He was a prospector, searching for gold and had an amazing coin and dvd collection. He loved guns, bowling and golfing.
He is survived by his daughter Shallise Harper (Chris) Hrynyshyn, of Oregon; parents, Ronald (Sally) Harper, Bern ID; Diane (Bill) Cook, Mesquite, NV; sister, Jill Harper (Matt) Krissman, Roosevelt, UT; brothers, Ron (Olivia) Harper, Bern ID; Tony (Andrea) Harper, Roosevelt, UT; step siblings, Annaliece, Alaina, Natalie, Nathan, Meitra, Brianna and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and step-sister Jennifer.
Funeral services held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Stake Center. A viewing will be held that morning from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m.
Burial in the Charleston Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
