Darlene Marie Thomas

    Darlene Marie Dean Thomas, age 85, of Duchesne, passed away on February 15, 2018 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.
    Darlene was born September 10, 1932 in Myton to Darrell Sullivan and Elsie Marie Christensen Dean.  She married LeVon Thomas July 30, 1949 in Duchesne, they were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.  He died August 21, 2009.
    Darlene was a wonderful person, who loved her family and friends.  She was the Postmaster in Randolph Utah for many years.  She and LeVon moved back to Duchesne in 1989.  She enjoyed playing cards with her friends.  She had a special love for cats.
    She is survived by her children, Darrell (Charlene) Thomas, Centerville; Jack Thomas, Duchesne; grandsons, Brandon (Laura) Thomas, South Jordan, Tyler Thomas, Bountiful; Jeremy (Sherry) Thomas, Provo; Logan Thomas, Centerville, 7 great grandchildren, brother James Dean, Seattle; and sister Colleen Sly, West Jordan.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband LeVon, siblings, Vangee  Morrell, Lynn Dean and Betty Hancock.
    Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Duchesne 1st & 3rd Ward Chapel.  Viewings will be held at the church on Sunday from 5 - 7 p.m. and Monday 1 hour prior to the service.
    Burial in the Duchesne City Cemetery.
