Darlene Powers

    Darlene Blackburn Powers, age 89, of Roosevelt, passed away March 7, 2022, at the Uintah Basin Sr. Villa.
    Darlene was born September 12, 1932, in Bicknell, Utah to Wallace Lund and Thelma Alzina Cook Blackburn.
    Darlene graduated from South High in Salt Lake City, Utah.  She married Donald Enos Powers on July 1, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He died March 25 2006.         
    Darlene enjoyed rock hunting, traveling, reading and was a very ambitious lady who got things done when needed.  She loved family time and having her family come and visit, they were her greatest joy.  
    She is survived by her children, Paula Dee Crandall, Craig (Valerie) Powers, April Lynn Lanham, Dooley Powers, Cyrus (Shelly) Powers, daughter-in-law, Julie Bushnell.
    She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son, Todd Powers.
    Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Loa Utah Cemetery.
