Watch the live-stream of the Funeral HERE
On April 3, 2023, Danny Wayne Ross, age 20, of Roosevelt, finished his final race here on earth in the arms of his best friend, teammate and dad.
Danny and his twin brother, Bodee, were born on July 19, 2002, in Salt Lake City to Brian and Dana Karren Ross. They came into this world three months premature weighing less than 2 lbs each. Even in their tiny bodies, they were giants in spirit and fought hard to stay together. Sadly, Bodee passed away at 6 months-old and has been a guardian angel to his brother and family ever since.
Danny had numerous physical and health challenges during his life, but nothing stopped him from living life to its fullest. Danny and his dad, aka Team Ross, completed numerous races, including triathlons and marathons. Danny's favorite thing was going for runs with his dad and he loved it when they were joined by his mom, sisters, cousins and friends. They were an inspiration to many.
Some of the things Danny loved most were swimming, boating, visiting the ocean, balloons, ice cream, prayers, babies, fireworks, Brylee's singing, family trips, Brielle's hair, and his dogs; but what made him the happiest was spending time with his family and friends
We are forever grateful for the many caregivers, doctors, nurses, and medical professionals who have taken such amazing care of Danny throughout his life. They have become family and we can never adequately express how much they mean to us. The selfless loving care that was provided to our son will never be forgotten.
Danny will be remembered most by his infectious smile, fist bumps, laugh, headlocks, and right hooks. Danny's smile was contagious and so was his spirit. The Team Ross motto "Never Give Up" will continue to inspire all who knew him as they finish their earthly races with Danny pushing them along the way.
Danny will be missed so much by his loving and devoted parents, Brian & Dana Ross; his sisters, Brylee & Brielle; grandparents: Kay Hancock, Kathy Karren, Lanny & Kathy Ross, and Dan & Polly Karren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
