Daniel Roach

Daniel Patrick Roach, age 37, of Duchesne, passed away April 3, 2015, from injuries sustained in an industrial accident.
He was born February 7, 1978, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to Robert Stephen and Joan Marie Doherty Roach.  He married Crystal Ann Morrill on February 17, 2006, in Duchesne.
Daniel was a hardworker.  When he first came to the Basin, he was “The Schwan’s Man”, going to homes selling Schwan’s products.  He then went to work in the natural gas section of the oilfield as a pipeline technician.
He loved playing with his son, playing games online, and, according to his wife, “the stupid PlayStation”.  He recently started bowling again and enjoyed reading and listening to music.  Before moving to Duchesne to be with his wife, he lived in Boston and North Carolina.
Although his death is tragic, he was able to help others go on living by being an organ and tissue donor.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Crystal, and son, Daniel Jacob Roach, of Duchesne; father, Robert (Mary) Roach, Boston; mother, Joan (Paul) Brown, a sister, Colleen (Mike) Dalton; both of Angier, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his an infant sister, Heather Roach, and his grandparents.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2015, at the Hullinger Mortuary from 3-5 p.m.  Afterwards, he will be cremated.
