Cleo Womack

For those unable to attend the funeral service in person, it will be live-streamed here.

Cleo Peterson Womack age 91, passed away peacefully on the family farm,
Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in Independence, Utah.
She was born July 3, 1930 to Erastus Peterson and Cecil Delma Keel in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Cleo had fond memories of her younger years, getting up early with her dad, hours before anyone else in the house. They had some good talks and spent quality time together. She remembered seeing the sunrise for the first time with her dad and how beautiful it was for both of them. She loved spending time with her baby brother Billy, they have had many great times together.
She married the Love of her life Stanley Ivan Womack, Sr. on March 14, 1951 in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 16, 1964 and all of the children were sealed to them at that time. Dad changed the city girl into a country girl which she loved being. We all contributed to the building of our home and farm. Our parents raised 7 children, teaching us to work hard but to also have fun. Mom always made sure that we knew we were loved. She always had good food on the table, clean clothes and that we were well taken care of. She was always there for us. She has always enjoyed her 7 children, their spouses and the grandchildren.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served a mission from November 1993 to November 1994 with her loving companion, our Dad, in the Independence Missouri Mission. She served in many other church positions. She had a great love for Family History, a wonderful talent for writing poetry and stories, painting and drawing.
She is survived by all of her children, Stanley (Renee) Womack, Ballard, UT; Robert (Lorie) Womack, Washington, UT; Donald (Debra) Womack, Independence, UT; Kenneth (Pam) Womack, Ballard, UT; Daniel (Paula) Womack, Roosevelt, UT; Connie (Michael, Sr.) Arrowchis, Fort Duchesne, UT; Kamme (Fred) Bartlett, Duchesne, UT. 35 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. Her brother Billy Derris (Ann) Peterson, Salt Lake City, UT.
