Cody Olsen

Cody Ed Olsen, age 36, of Roosevelt, passed away September 22, 2015, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
He came into this word on April Fool's Day 1979, which probably attributed to his great sense of humor and his constant teasing and joking. He was born in Roosevelt to Johnny Rex Olsen and Nelda Jane Hardman.
Cody was a hard worker and started in the oil field when he was still in his teens. He enjoyed hunting, camping, riding horses, and competing in rodeos as a bareback rider.
He loved his boys and would do anything for them. He will be greatly missed.
Cody is survived by his sons, Lane Olsen, Vernal; Kyler Hunt, St. George; Braxton & Jeston Olsen, Roosevelt; mother, Nelda Erickson, father Johnny (Denise) Olsen, both of Roosevelt; sister, Amanda (Mike) Romero, Sanford, North Carolina; grandparents, Ned & Elsie Hardman, Bluebell; nieces, Kiara "Kiki" Romero & Erika Olsen; and a nephew, Desmond Romero.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kevin & Elvis; a nephew, Haven Romero; grandparents, Ed & Lucille Olsen; and step-dad, Don Erickson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be a viewing at the mortuary on Sunday from 6-8 and one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Altonah Cemetery.
