Cody Wayne Marx

  Cody Wayne Marx, age 48, of Roosevelt was killed in an auto fatality accident on October 11, 2020.
    He was born on April 14, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Verdell “Corky” and Kenna Jean Neilson Marx.  He’s the second of four boys. Cody served in the Portugal, Porto mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He was married and sealed to the love of his life, Nancy Correa, on September 2, 1994.  Together they welcomed four children, one boy and three girls. Cody’s every thought was for his wife and children.  
    Cody loved spending time with friends and family. He was a friend to everyone and always saw good in each individual. Cody made many sacrifices throughout his life to help others. To say that Cody would give you the shirt off his back, is no over-statement. He was a very genuine person and the first to help those in need.
    Cody loved to tease and was never afraid to tell a good story at his own expense.  Cody was great at getting a good “belly” laugh out of his many stories.  We will miss him dearly.
    He is survived by his wife, A. Nancy Marx, his children, Elizabeth G. Laursen  (Josh M Laursen), Jasmine M. Hart (Samuel J. Hart), Kenneth W. Marx, Shantel N. Marx; his granddaughter, Melany K. Laursen; his brothers Troy Marx (Julianne Marx), Ryan Marx (Sundie Marx), and Travis Marx (Laurie Marx); grandmother, Dorothy Wall Marx, along with many extended family members.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Masks are required.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 2nd Ward Chapel.  Viewings will be held on Friday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  The funeral will be live-streamed at the button below.
