Clayton Garren

Clayton Eugene Garren, age 59, of Talmage, passed away August 28, 2017, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
He was born January 15, 1958, in San Francisco, CA, to LeRoy and Patricia June Norris Garren.  He married Maxine Richards and they later divorced.  He married Betti Bird and they later divorced.  His fiancé was Elizabeth Rasmussen and they were ready to make a life together.
Clay was a wonderful man who loved being outdoors, riding his horse and camping.  His real passion was fishing, and on his days off , you would most likely find him out on a lake somewhere doing just that.  He also spent a lot of time up on the mountains with his family looking at wildlife and having picnics.  He loved going out on the boat with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.    
Clayton is survived by his children, Jennifer (Sam) Farnsworth; Debra (Travis) Baum, both of Roosevelt; Amanda Garren, Arizona; Kevin (Cortnie) Moore, Roosevelt; Candice Moore, Sunset City; Johnathon (Nikki) Garren, Roy; Dawna LaBounty, Russelville, Arkansas; 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Charles (LaRayne) Garren, Roosevelt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Linda Shmitz.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt Christian Assembly of God.  There will be a viewing on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church.  
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
