Ciarra Lynn Kuhr

Ciarra Lynn Kuhr, age 18, of Roosevelt, Orem, and Bluffdale Utah, died September 12, 2023, doing what she loved: riding her bullet bike.  
    She was born May 23, 2005, in Roosevelt, to Ricky Kuhr and Desire Evans.  She graduated from Uintah High School and then achieved her EMT certification at the Utah Valley University in Provo.  
    Ciarra had worked as a snowboard instructor at Park City Mountain Resort and then recently as a fulfillment associate at Amazon.Com.  She was an adventure seeker from the time she was little. She had an uncanny way of seeing the good and beauty in whatever she did, so adventures with Ciarra were always exciting.  She tried to include everyone around her.  She was put on a 4-wheeler at age four and then a dirt bike before she could touch the ground – and that was all it took – she loved anything with wheels, but mostly dirt bikes and bullet bikes. She also enjoyed caving, rock climbing, sky diving, wake surfing, and seeing the world – anything with an ocean was her favorite place to visit. If she set her mind to it, she could accomplish. 
    She had been baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Ciarra had lived more in her short life than many do in their lifetime.  She will be deeply missed.
    She is survived by her parents, Ricky (Nicole) Kuhr, Roosevelt; Desire (Tommy) Whitehead, Roosevelt; siblings, Currstin Shoemaker, Vernal; Jaythen & Ryker Kuhr, both of Roosevelt; grandparents, Syd (Laura) Griffin, Upalco; Bonny Evans, Longbeach, Washington; Janet & Travis Duncan, Roosevelt; Steve & LuAnn Whitehead, Neola; Jim Dieter, Roosevelt; and great-grandmother, Susan Downard.   
    She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Susie Kuhr-Dieter; and her aunt, Nikko Sanchez.
    Funeral services for will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary.  There will be a viewing on Friday at the Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. 
    Following the services, she will be cremated.
