Christina Bedolla

Christina Shavanaux Bedolla, age 86, of Rupert, Idaho, passed away September 18, 2018, in her daughter Tina’s home.
She was born December 14, 1931, in Ft. Duchesne, UT, to Coney and Lucy Reed Shavanaux. She married Alfonso Bedolla, on October 17, 1984, and he preceded her in death on June 7, 2015.
Christina was a loving and devoted wife to Alfonso. She was a loving and caring mother, an incredible grandmother whom her grandchildren have always looked up to, and sister who spent hours a day on the phone with her siblings. She liked the outdoors, camping, and although she hated fish, she loved to go fishing. She enjoyed being home where she would spend her time reading and doing puzzles. She had a talent for sewing, baking, and cooking that her family enjoyed. She had the gift of gab and could converse with just about anyone. Her grandchildren enjoyed learning her talents and have the best memories from spending summers with her and Alfonso. 
Christina is survived by her daughter, Tina (Allen) Piper, of Rupert, ID; and Tina’s 4 children and 7 grandchildren (Christina’s 7 great grandchildren); grandson Antonio (Ashley) Ramirez and their two children, Isaiah and Jakaya, granddaughter Christina (Junior) Olivas along with their three children, Omar, Harmony, and Dominik, granddaughter Tia Smith and her son Damon, and youngest grandson Joseph (Priscilla) Smith and their son Matthew; siblings, Darrell Shavanaux, Dale (Angela) Shavanaux, Venice Shavanaux, and Drew McConkie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso; and sister, Cleo Shavanaux Flores.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
