Cheryl Lynn Mounteer

   
    Cheryl Lynn Mounteer, age 40, of Roosevelt, passed away August 26, 2022, at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo from complications of various health issues.
    She was born September 24, 1981, in Heber City,Utah, to Debra Ann Mounteer and was raised by her grandparents, LaFonda & Sherrill Mounteer.   She met Bryce Lee Wall and they have been companions for the last seventeen years.
    Cheryl was known by her family as “Punky” because she reminded them of Punky Brewster.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, walks with her four-legged friends, crocheting, and playing video games.  She loved being around her family and spending time online making new friends.  She was a very caring person.
    Cheryl is survived by her companion, Bryce; her sister, Darlene Paxman; her aunts & uncles, Jack & Tamie Mounteer; Robert & Angie Mounteer, all of Roosevelt; cousins, Kimberley, Brittany, Sandi, Skylar, Kambree, Devon, Maquade, and Brianna; a god-son, Bjorne Sheely; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her mother; her grandparents; and her brother, Dee Paxman.
    Per her wishes, she was cremated.
