Chauncy Checora, Jr

    Gregory Chauncy Checora, age 31, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away October 20, 2023.
    Chauncy was born November 13, 1991 in Roosevelt, Utah to Gregory Chauncey Checora and Terry Marie Manyhides Checora.
    Chauncy enjoyed being in the mountains, spending time huntint, camping and fishing.  He loved to travel, was a great artist, a tattoo technician and doing beading.  He enjoyed animals and had a special love for turtles.  His family was very important to him and he loved spending time with them.
    He is survived by his parents, Gergory Checora, Sr., Terry Manyhides, siblings, Grant (Star) Checora, Mahila Checora, Evander Cuch, Kereemarie Cuch, Eagle Cuch, Santana Cuch, Doncianna Checora,
    He is preceded in death by his siblings, Rainey Manyhides, Sukakee Manyhides, grandparents, Bernadine UncaSam, Floydina and Ramon Appawora, and Rick Martinez.

      Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building.  A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the same location.
    Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
